Trip to Darfur
Rep. Steny Hoyer has been on a congressional visit to Darfur.

Additional Information
On May 9, 2007, Rep. Hoyer signed a letter to the Chinese President urging China to use its significant influence with the government of Sudan to end the atrocities against innocent civilians in Darfur.
On May 8, 2007, Rep. Hoyer sent a letter to President Bush asking him to send a clear message to Sudan that they must ensure continued humanitarian access.
On April 18th, 2007, after returning from a Congressional Delegation to Darfur, Congressman Hoyer made the following statement, which can viewed here.
In early April 2007, Rep. Hoyer recieved credit for leading a Congressional delegation to the Darfur region of Sudan.
